I've noticed that most of the traffic on this blog has been around arts and activities, so I am going to publish more on those topics for a little here.
Today's Topic: 3-D Collage
This is a very easy craft that does not require much imagination on you who has to gather the supplies.
Supplies:
Construction paper
Pieces from construction paper (can be shapes, numbers, or abstract pieces)
Glue-stick works best in most cases
Random bits and pieces-i.e. string, sequins, stickers
Instructions:
Gather all supplies and give them to the child.
Tell them to glue the pieces on as they wish.
Simple. Enough.
You can also make this into a learning activity by asking about colors, shapes, and numbers.
This is the perfect craft to do when running low on supplies and all you have is paper...and glue. The same project never comes out the same way and my charges have yet to get tired of it. For the little ones, watch them with the glue-they tend to put on way too much!
Have you done this before? How does it turn out?
