The Creative Nanny

One of my charges has a peanut allergy...so sad! Really, any food allergy has got to be awful; it would be a real downer for me if I had food allergies because I love food so much!
Anyway...his mother has tried a few different substitutes for peanut butter, but since he hasn't had anything like it since he was born, he doesn't take to it. However, I thought I'd write about this one product that is absolutely delicious.

It's called Sun Butter. Yum.

It is made from sunflower seeds and, in my opinion, is better than peanut butter. That's hard for me to say...I really love peanut butter. I really can't describe it, but it does have the texture of peanut butter and a flavor that is out of this world. Alas, I will stop. I am tempted to go out and buy some right now!
